Your search, considered

A clear, human-led process

Jobs Desk is designed to reduce the repetitive work around finding relevant vacancies. The service begins with your context, then keeps the evidence around each role close at hand.

  1. Talk through the search

We begin with a conversation about your experience and what you want next. That includes the kind of work, seniority, salary expectations, location or remote needs, and the patterns you want to avoid.

The outcome is a written profile you can review. It gives the search a shared starting point rather than asking a filter to guess what you mean.

  2. Review the available roles

Roles are assembled from the shared corpus and assessed against that profile. You can see them in a digest and in your client page. The process works from roles already gathered; clicking around does not trigger a fresh search.

Each listing should make its evidence legible: whether we have the full description or a snippet, when the vacancy was last checked, where the application link goes, and which details remain uncertain.

  3. Give each role your judgement

Mark a role as one you like, one worth considering, or one that is not for you. Add a reason when it helps explain the choice.

Those ratings influence the order of future recommendations. They do not silently rewrite your profile: suggestions remain visible so the process stays understandable.

Useful, yet incomplete

The current source mix includes Reed, Adzuna and selected employer career pages. Sources differ in the detail they publish and how recently a vacancy can be checked. Their terms also shape what can be included in a commercial service.

Jobs Desk aims to describe that variation in the listing itself. A short preview is not presented as a full job description, and an unstated remote arrangement is not labelled confirmed.

We do not use LinkedIn or Indeed, and we do not contact employers or submit applications for you.

Your judgement carries forward

Every rating adds a little context to the next set of recommendations. The client page can show whether the learning signal is ready and the reasons affecting a role’s ranking, so you can see how feedback affects the ranking.

The list can still be quiet. Where a role does not meet your needs, or where the source does not provide enough detail, that uncertainty should be visible rather than smoothed over.

Planned work stays labelled

Profile onboarding and the role tracker are being developed. CV tailoring and interview preparation are future plans. They are not represented here as available automated services.
